Description:
Electronic consignment notes for combined transport (ELECTRA) is a research and development project focused on designing and developing a cloud-based web application for the electronic exchange of transport documents between freight transport participants and other logistics operators regardless of transport mode. The application focuses on all modes of transport and helps create documents, including consignment notes necessary for executing shipments by road, rail, air, and sea transport. A database containing electronic data on shipments is implemented in the application. ELECTRA helps efficiently create the necessary transport documents even if the mode of transport is changed during the transport of a given consignment, without the need to repeatedly collect basic data such as the consignee, sender, description of goods, etc.
Project co-funded by the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) under the EUREKA Initiative
