Description:

The Winter School of Reliability is an annual conference first held in 1972 on the initiative of Prof. Stefan Ziemba, an actual member of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The LI Winter School of Reliability took place in January 2023. It presented scientific achievements, including the latest results of scientific research and development works. One of the essential factors was the internationalisation of the conference.

As a result of the “LI Winter School of Reliability 2023” project, the following results were achieved:

-         development of a collective repository in an electronic version containing materials from the fifty Winter Reliability Schools to date,

-         development of a new website for the Winter School of Reliability (Polish and English versions), which internationalised the conference,

-         internationalisation of the conference by inviting speakers from abroad,

-         dissemination of knowledge - financing part of the conference fee for doctoral students and students from scientific associations.

The project “LI Winter School of Reliability” was co-financed from the state budget under the programme of the Minister of Education and Science “Excellent Science - Support for Scientific Conferences”, project number DNK/SP/548985/2022, funding value: 58 950 PLN, total project value: 65 800 PLN.
