Road Traffic Control
First- and second-cycle degree programmes
Students of the Road Traffic Control specialisation develop their knowledge in the field of: electronics, automation, digital technology, theory of motion of road vehicles, roads and streets, road transport systems, road and city traffic, road traffic control, measurements in road traffic, facilities and systems of road traffic control - in the first-cycle degree programmes, and automation, digital control systems, road traffic processes, city transport systems, facilities and systems of road traffic control – in the second-cycle degree programmes.
Graduates of the specialisation have the skills to organise, plan and design systems of traffic control, as well as to build and maintain traffic control facilities, and to study new solutions in the area.
The graduates may use their qualifications by finding employment in:
- companies and local government units which deal with building and maintaining facilities of road traffic control, including ITS,
- Polish and international production plants of industrial automation devices,
- state and local government organisational units of traffic control on roads and streets, including traffic police,
- consulting and design offices,
- research centres.
