First-cycle degree programmes
First-cycle students of the Transport Telematics specialisation develop their knowledge in the field of: electronics, automation, digital technology, telecommunications, teleinformatics, telematics, construction and operation of telecommunications and information transmission in telecommunications systems.
Graduates of the specialisation have the skills to provide opinions on solutions, to do projects, to use telecommunications and teleinformatics systems for the purposes of management and control in various types of transport, including intelligent transport systems.
The graduates may use their qualifications by finding employment in:
- companies that build and maintain information transmission systems,
- transport companies in departments of IT support,
- telecommunications companies,
- teleinformation system and network design offices,
- government offices responsible for transport,
- transport operators,
- public transport companies.
The skills acquired can be used in road, railway, and air transport.
