Division of Information and Mechatronic Systems in Transport

The plant conducts research on ATN, APM (Automated Transit Network, Automated People Movers), Ecological Car, Driveless Car, ergonomics of means of transport and intelligent man-vehicle interfaces, means of transport for people with limited efficiency, identification of traction processes due to the state of work of the propulsion system, innovative energy sources and storage, lighting of transport infrastructure and infrastructure for electric vehicles.
The didactic activity of the Company is realized within the framework of specialization:

  • Autonomous vehicles and autonomous transport systems,

in which items such as:

  • Information technologies and systems,
  • Man in the Transport System,
  • Electrotechnology.

The plant has 2 modern research and teaching laboratories: Laboratory of Electrical Equipment of Motor Vehicles and Laboratory for testing ATN and APM systems.
The laboratories are equipped with top-class apparatus, e.g. for measuring human psychophysical fatigue using EMG signals.
