Division of Transport Telecommunications
The Department conducts research on telematics systems supporting management and steering in transport, design of ICT networks and systems and analysis of telematics services, information platforms in various areas of transport and logistics, monitoring and recognition solutions for road and urban transport, mobile vision systems in road transport, rail communication systems, telematics solutions for rail transport, design of intelligent transport systems.
The didactic activity of the Company is realized within the framework of the specialization:
- Transport Telematics,
- Intelligent transport systems,
in which objects such as these are carried out:
- Transportation Communications Systems,
- Operation of telecommunications systems,
- Telecommunications in transport.
The plant has 4 modern research and teaching laboratories: Laboratory of Telecommunication Systems Operation, Telecommunications in Road and Internal Transport, Teletransmission Systems II and ITS Telecommunications Environment Laboratory.
Their equipment allows for the presentation of issues related to teletransmission systems.
